Project Description: Reduce the University’s risk profile by securing computing infrastructure and institutional data.
Project Purpose/Business Need:IT Services was directed by the Board of Trustees to develop and implement a risk assessment process for the purpose of eliminating IT Risk across the University’s IT infrastructure. Phase 1 of this effort targets departmental IT systems assessing system management practices and vulnerability management.
Project Scope: The scope of the phase 1 effort includes all University departments that manage their own IT infrastructure that support the unique business of the department. This effort does not include the University of Chicago Medical Center.
IT Partners Impacted by Project: Phase 1 of this project will impact all departmental IT staff that manage IT infrastructure specific to the business of there department.
