What type of services does the PMO offer?
The IT Services PMO offers project management services and oversight for IT projects. ITS PMO project managers guide strategic and high value IT projects using recommended methodologies to maximize the benefits of project investments and minimize risk. The PMO provides training, assistance, processes, and tools for project managers.
Our project managers will:
- manage your endeavor through the entire project lifecycle
- apply project management best practices
- engage with end users, vendors, and the project sponsor
- oversee project communication, among other processes
The ITS PMO frequently assists with projects that involve:
- a high level of complexity and/or are highly visible
- high degree of system/data integration
- multiple stakeholders
PMO staff provide consulting services, from answering general project management questions to assisting in the development of a project charter, risk analysis, or work schedule. This service may be provided for free or via chargeback, depending on the scope of the work.
