Project Description: Datacenter Network Refresh
Project Purpose/Business Need: To refresh network infrastructure to improve network performance and security to Data Center services for University researchers and customers.
Project Scope: IT Services will install replacement network hardware in the 6045 data center. This hardware will run in parallel to the existing network infrastructure. Once installed, a new project will be kicked off to migrate servers and applications to the new network infrastructure. The new network infrastructure will follow the standards developed for the 1155 data center network.
IT Partners Impacted by Project: All end users whom will be hosted and reside within the 6045 location
